New testimonials:
I am so glad I chose the AquaPod, I have been hunting out of mine now for 2 years and have shot more ducks out of it than any other boat, blind, canoe or layout, I own.
- I have a 17 foot shallow water boat with a 45 hp Mud Buddy surface drive (big water and big river boat), a Grumman Sport canoe with a 6hp Mud Buddy longtail, (larger pothole boat), a 4 person Floating Pontoon blind with a 35hp Johnson, and a Beavertail Otter stealth. (the local competition)
- The Aqua pod tracks and paddles easier then the Otter. It is also WAY lighter (I have the Otter for sale now, want to buy it? lol)
- For the wild rice potholes I hunt in this boat is the ultimate. I can easily hide in the middle of the rice… throw out only about 7-9 decoys and it’s all over. They have no idea that I am there. I have not needed a spinning wing decoy out of this boat yet, or even had to call much. It’s almost not fair…almost. I will be purchasing another one for my son this year, that’s for sure. I am tired of him wanting this rig and me getting stuck in the Otter.
That is one great boat.
I originally got a Marsh Rat (last year) and loved it. Then I got a Final Attack (used) to have as a second boat. Then the Marsh Rat got stolen and I was offered another used marsh boat. I agreed to buy that, and then my Marsh Rat was returned. Also, in the mean time, a friend of mine sent up the Aquapod and said I could use it, and if I liked it he'd make me a great deal on it. So, I now have 4 marsh boats sitting in the shop. After using the Aquapod yesterday I agreed to buy it and I'm selling the Final Attack and the marsh boat I got last week (builder unknown). There's nothing wrong with either of the one's I'm selling, but that Aquapod is head and shoulders above the others. It's 3 feet longer than the Marsh Rat, but can still be used as a one man layout boat. However, it has the capability of being used for BOTH me and my daughter, and that's something none of the others can boast.
